MotionX GPS Drive

Many GPS apps were all bummed when iPhone 3G was released since most people wouldn’t want to spend $50 on a GPS app especially when you can just have the map on your phones.

MotionX GPS Drive or Drive is only $99 cents and it works like any GPS app. It certainly gets you to your destination at the quickest way possible. You can search for a specific location or any nearby amenity (hospital, gas station, coffee shop, grocery, etc.).

Voice activation is available but only for 30 days you have to pay for $2.99 a month or $24.99 a year for one year. The voice activation works well but you cannot customize it. Even so, the voiceover sounds pleasant enough.

This is a great application and it allows you to switch between the shortest and fastest route but still needs a little tweaking especially when finding an alternate route. For example, there is one part of town you down want to pass through, you just have to find a new direction and the GPS would find a new route automatically.

Besides its glitch, Drive is a great application in general and for only a fraction of the price. This will certainly get you to where you are heading.
